I finished my last day of Neurology inpatient rounds today. Tomorrow I have the shelf exam. I really grew to enjoy neurology, which is really surprising for me. I do know that neurology isn't the specialty for me....the cases are either too dramatic (a total left MCA stroke sucks) or prolonged (Huntington's Disease) or confusing (seizures).
I have this weekend off before starting ortho on Monday. Matt is working for Marlene and Ken's catering company all day on Saturday (extra money is good!), so I will be home her with Mr. O'Malley doing chores. Mr. O'Malley really disliked the dishwasher, so it will be interesting to see what he thinks of the washer, dryer, and vacuum. I also need to hang some pictures up here, the bare walls are starting to get to me!
Good news! I got my boards score back. I did better than I thought I would, which is nice. It is a huge relief to know that they are over and I did well. Now I can focus on the next step.
My paper will be out soon according to Dr. Redmer. I hope so, because it has almost been four years since I wrote it! My frustration with the whole process could probably fill an entire room. Oh well, it is done and over and I will have a publication on my CV.....
Well, I need some sleep.
