I am back in the lab again on a Sunday. It is sort of peaceful here, which is nice. I just split my cells in prepareation for tomorrow's experiment. Let us now hope that they grow (unlike last week when they didn't).
Matt and I completed the "Arrested Development" DVDs last night. I wish there were more episodes. Why is it that a stupid show like "The War at Home" gets Fox's support, but an Emmy winning gem doesn't? I am sure I am not alone when I foster a hope that "Arrested Development" with become like "The Family Guy" and "7th Heaven" and be rescued from cancellation.
I have a busy week ahead of me. I have a term paper, plus I have to get ready for my presentation in Dr. Dunny's class. We missed out on a pop quiz on Thursday, so there is a good bet we will have one sometime next week. I just don't have enought time to study. During medicial school studying was all I have time to do. Now that I am in the lab, I have my course work, my lab work, and all the stuff surrounding my lab work. I literally read at least 7 hours a day! I like reading, but it is really had to absorb information by doing just that!
Well, I am going to study and head to the gym. I am skipping church today in favor of getting some coursework done. In return, I will get to go to a potluck held by my old medical school buddies. It will be great seeing how all of them are liking the wards. As much as I complain about the PhD part thus far, I don't have any wishes to be in the wards right now.
