I survived the pathology exam on Friday. I nailed the slide id part, which was a pleasant surprise. Matt and I made a quick trip to ND for the weekend. It was great seeing a whole bunch of people at the Turf. I know that both of us miss our friends in Fargo (and those who have left Fargo and are living far far away!) It was nice visiting my folks in Jamestown too, even if we didn't leave the house the entire time. My mom once again stuffed us until we couldn't move. Medicare Plan D really takes the energy out of my Dad, but he still stayed up late with us to chat, mostly about Karen's upcomig move (we are all praying for an August move.....moving in January is not fun!)
We started Gut stuff today. It is sort of interesting, but after three straight hours of liver enzyme test stuff I was starting to get comatose...... I am excited though because I get to start up learning animal surgeries and other cool stuff sometime in the next week with my "free" time (ie study time).
This weekend we don't have much on the agenda, which is a nice change. We might try to go bowling with one of Matt's coworkers. Once a year I get the urge to try out bowling. I go, realize why I dont' like it, and wait another 364 days to go again. It is once again that time of year...
